Well.... I have been a Christian for about 4 yrs now, and Jesus has called me to Reality Church! I have attended a church in Oxnard for the past couple years and I was really involved, but something was missing there. I love the people of that church and it was hard to leave. But last year I began to realize that God was calling me to something that he wants me to do. So, for the last year I have been praying and fasting, seeking God and asking Him where He wants to take me. Somehow I knew that God was calling me to a different church.

One day I was praying and fasting, asking God to direct me and make it plain to me. So, I'm at work that same day and Chris Jenkins walks into my work and asks me if I want to eat lunch with him. I know Chris because we use to work at T-Mobile together. So, I'm telling Chris about the way I have been feeling and how God is calling me to something, and he says, "dude, you have to check out my church!"

So I came that very next Sunday and God spoke to me!!! It was through pastor Brit's preaching of course, but God spoke to me! So now me, my wife, and my two children attend Reality and I haven't looked back. Every Sunday my roots are going down deeper into the soil of this church because God has planted here! I have been at Reality for 2 months now and I'm ready for the next step of my walk with Jesus.

God has put a passion in my heart to evangelize! Ever since I became born again all I can think about is sharing the gospel with the lost! And that is what my call is, to share the love of Christ! Right now I'm learning the Bible and witnessing to friends and family everywhere I go, but I fall short all the time.

So God has brought me here, and I'm going to let Jesus use me in any way. For now I'm spending more time with God, more time with my wife and my family and looking forward to getting to know my new family!

Good for you, Carlo, and your family. There is something special in Britt's delivery of God's Word, I suspect more than anything it is his total acceptance of Jesus Christ, his seeking of the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and his refusal to be seduced by today's so-called morals and standards. So many ministers and pastors in all Christian denominations water down the message, trying to fill their churches by being "relevant" (whatever that means), not wanting to venture into contentious areas like homosexuality, the role of women in the Church, sin and temptation. Britt delivers it as Jesus meant it to be delivered, with no compromise. I thank God for Reality, and the fact that I can follow from afar via the internet. I would love to attend in person, but the 7500 mile each way commute is more than I could manage on a weekly basis!!!

Hey bro! Welcome to Reality! My family and I have recently relocated to Carp for the beach and the church :) Your zeal for Jesus is awesome and I love the fact that your intent on being there for your family during the transition to a new church family. Are you guys in a Home Group? They just started up again, and ours has been a TOTAL blessing to us and a great way to integrate into the body. Blessings my brother!
