Britt, You have grown so much through this experience with Daisy Love's cancer. Sunday was awesome and hard. When I was a kid I had rashes all over my skin. They would become infected with big yucky sores. The other kids didn't want to sit next to me much less touch me. Home was not much better. I know now that even though I didn't have a relationship or really any understanding of Jesus, He loved me. I see it so clearly now. I became inseparable friends with Jesus in my late forties. In 2008 I was diagnosed with Brest/lymph cancer. Man did I cling to God. I would not give my experience back for a zillion bucks. Nope, Not the baldness, not the sickness, (ok maybe the sickness). Anyway, Through this I have been blessed up one side and down the other. Blessed with being there for other cancer people and sharing Gods love better then I could have ever done before. I have been cancer-free from 1 year. Yippee. Daisy Love's cancer hit me hard because I was so fresh in what I knew would come since I was just finishing up treatment. But...I also knew the power of Jesus to instill so many incredible treasures in her, you, Kate, & Isaiah that in the end you will say the same thing I did. There is not one thing that could have showed me just how amazing our Father is then this experience with cancer. Believe me, don't want to do it again, but man Thank You Jesus for who you are and how you love. Anyway, This is my way of saying "I am Clean" and only through Jesus did I get this way. Amen
