(1) How does the text or the topic reveal the way that God reaches out to humanity through Christ?
This topic reveals that Jesus can change anyone! Even those who have the fullest manifestations of evil in their lives. It is an awesome display of God's love for those that society has given up on. Those who have been left to walk among the dead. Those who people have tried to chain down, just to keep them from hurting themselves. Sometimes these can be the very people who become the most faithful followers of Christ!

(2) how do we then allow Christ to, in a similar way, reach out to humanity through us?
When I read about this man it makes me think about how I use to be! I was addicted to Crystal-Meth for 3 yrs! Meth turns you into a monster, and it makes you do things that you would never dream of. Meth is a very satanic drug, and it has a lot to do with sorcery and demonic bondage! But Jesus broke my chains and set me free! I think Jesus would have us reach out to the drug addict, and people who abuse themselves and so on. Maybe it could be known that Reality reaches out to drug addicts, Reality loves drug addicts! Drug addicts come!! And maybe this is already the case. That is what the Holy Spirit impresses on my heart.
